The Last Day of Summer

I told the girls that they could choose something special to do on the last day of summer vacation before school starts. I was thinking something like the zoo or a park or something. They were thinking the mall.

This is Amanda with her new "Build-a-Bear" Bunny (notice that Amanda and the bunny are wearing matching bunny slippers).



Emily chose to go to Libby-Lu's (a makeover place for little girls). Here's the before and after of Emily. Emily thought she looked her best before. I have to say, I agree. Luckily we went to the neighbor's pool in the afternoon so the makeover washed off before the first day of school - not exactly the impression we wanted to make on the first day at a new school.
