Amanda's Disney Journal

Instead of homework, Emily and Amanda's teachers asked that they keep a journal while they were in Disney. They shared their journals at school yesterday. Here is Amanda's:
In case it's hard to read the picture, it says: "Day 1 - We rode on the Dumbo ride. It was fun. I rode with Emily. We were in Magic Kingdom."

Day 2 - I saw a cheetah. It was far away. Daddy took the picture of the cheetah for me. We saw it on a safari. (by way of explanation, Amanda is doing a research project at school on cheetahs. We were in Animal Kingdom.)

Day 3 - I rode on the gian disco ball ride. We went to up space. We visited all different countries. Epcot is a grown-up place. (editorial comment: They didn't love Epcot.)

Day 4 - We are back in Magic Kingdom. In Magic Kingdom, we went on a rollercoaster called Goofy's barnstormer. We also went on splash mountain. We got really wet. We went on the Peter Pan ride. It was like we were in the movie. After Pluto wanted to go on the small world. It was all fun. (Pluto was her souvenir - a stuffed toy)

Day 5 - We went to Hollywood Studios. It got a new name apparently. It was not like Hollywood at all. At least I don't think it was. I've never been to Hollywood before. We had breakfast with Leo, June, JoJo and Goliath. I went on the Tower of Terror. Mommy is very proud of me. (she did, I am)

Day 6 - We are back again in Magic Kingdom. We had a story time with Peter Pan. Mommy thought it was with Belle. Peter Pan had a new book. He signed our autograph book.

Day 7 - I rode on Mt. Everest. It was very scary. Mommy screamed like a baby. We saw a Pocahontas show. There was live animals. It is the last day. I will miss DisneyWorld.
