Smuggler's Notch - Karaoke
Smuggler's Notch - Kick Ball
It was kids vs. adults. The adults won - some of them took this WAY too seriously. They were all very supportive of Rebecca's attempts to kick the ball. She was by far the youngest player on the field (at least physically). Emily and Amanda did not want to play, although Amanda did get in in the end. She did get onto base but I didn't get any pictures (had to take Emily to the bathroom).

Smuggler's Notch - Family Games - The boat races
Every kid built her own boat (with parental help) and raced it. Emily did beat Amanda in the race but Amanda beat Emily in the cheer. Each of the girls (Emily, Amanda, Meghan and Katherine) won a couple of prizes, including Best Vegetarian Boat, for Emily's Green Jungle. The important thing is that everyone had fun.

Smuggle's Notch - Family Games - I-did-a-Kart
This was a family game where we designed and built a go-kart and raced it down a track. There were prizes for several different categories, including best crash and most original. We won a few, including best cheer! Our team was called Bunny King Kong (guess who named it?). The cheer went "Bunny, bunny, you're so tall. We sure hope that you don't fall! Go Bunny!" He did fall. We came in second for best crash. Amanda is holding the prizes.

Smuggler's Notch - Rum Runner's Cove
Rum Runner's Cove was this natural water playground. We had to hike part way up a ski mountain to it. They had paddle boats, canoes, a playground and this really cool water trampoline with a aqua-launcher - basically, one person hits on the edge of a blow up launch pad and another person jumps on the other side launching the first person. It was really cool! Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of Emily and Amanda doing it because I was out on the launcher with them. Luckily a teenager offered to launch them so I didn't have to. Rebecca was too little so she spent her time at the playground. She did do the paddle boats though. This might have been my favorite day! The scenery was just spectacular!
