The Sukkah at Temple Beth Am

Emily and Amanda went to Hebrew School at Temple Beth Am on Sunday. They had a ceremony in the Sukkah for Sukkot. All the kids got to say the prayer and shake the lulav (She how much we are learning already!).

Shelburne Farm

We went apple picking again on Saturday for a Stow Area Parent Network family day (Sorry, Andrea - every event in Stow revolves around apple picking). This farm was great - they had hay rides, tractor races, a hay maze and mountain, a moonbounce and of course, apples and pumpkins.

Brownies

The girls had their first Brownie meeting on Friday. It was lots of fun and we met lots of nice girls. Here is Troop 2509. And, only 3 Emilys!

The Bolton Fair

Last Sunday we went to the Bolton Fair (it's an agricultural fair but we didn't exactly make it to the animals or biggest pumpkin kind of contests - the girls saw the midway and that was that). We were not expecting the traffic ( 1 1/2 hours to get about 5 miles max!) so we only had a few hours there. We made the most of it though! Unfortunately, not many good pictures.

Rebecca's letter to mommy

This was in Rebecca's backpack, folded like a card, when I picked her up from school today. I asked her what it was and she told me it was a letter to me and here's what it says:

"Dear Mommy,
I miss you when I am at school. I enjoyed seeing you at pick-up. I love you.

I saw this in the classroom when I took Rebecca in for show and tell today. I thought it was amusing. I believe the first line says "We have the right to: Eat ice cream."
