Johnson School Field Day 2007

Today was Field Day at Johnson School in addition to being Portfolio Day. Sadly it poured all day so Field Day was inside and no spectators were allowed - thus, no pictures.

According to Emily and Amanda, they played egg in spoon, three-legged races, space shuttle, limbo, relay races, ball in a plunger, seal walk and it was a lot of fun. Emily's favorite game was space shuttle (One kid goes inside a hula hoop, runs to the other side of the gym, another kid grabs on and gets shuttled back, repeat). Amanda's favorite was the egg in spoon game because she didn't drop the egg.

Portfolio Day at Johnson School

Today was portfolio day at Emily and Amanda's kindergarten. Jay, Rebecca and I got to go into the classroom and view their portfolio of work from the year. Here are pictures from Portfolio Day. Highlights from the portfolios to follow.

Daisies Petal Certificate

Emily, Amanda and Rebecca received their certificates for completing all their petals. The bridging ceremony is next week where Emily and Amanda will bridge to Brownies.

Final Daisies meeting

The girls had their final Daisies meeting of the year - this one was an obstacle course.

Amanda's art

Here is a drawing Amanda made at school. It is Amanda and me. My favorite part is that it is in a picture frame - complete with the stand on the back.
