Autumn in New Hampshire

The leaf-peeping was particularly spectacular this year. Take a look!

Girl Scout Night at the Circus

Last Friday, our girl scout troop, plus friends and family, went to the Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey circus in Boston. We had a special animal care seminar beforehand and got to hang out on the floor. The girls had a great time and we finally made it to the finale!

A peek into our life

Amanda is doing great on the violin. Rebecca cannot seem to put that poor dog down. He's a very good sport though.

Shelburne Farm - Everything but apple picking

Today we went to Shelburne Farm again, but not to pick apples this time. We picked pumpkins, did the maze, looked at the animals and bounced in the bouncy castle. Alas, they were out of cider donuts though and the pony was off duty, so we'll be going back.

The pumpkin patch.

The dog was a really good sport about this.

I love this picture!

Feeding the animals.

More pumpkins.

The tractor area.

And the hedgemaze, of course.

Four Paws Academy

We went to the Open House at the Four Paws Academy, where Dash will be going, starting next week, for Obedience Training (sounds like the lady had some good ideas for the girls too). While we were there, Dash got to try out the agility course:

You are never too young to start a good exercise program

And yes, they are listening to Hannah Montana on the headphones!

The Bolton Fair - 2008

Last Saturday, we dutifully went to the Bolton Fair even though it had been raining bucketfuls for the prior 24 hours and indeed, most of the time we were there. On the plus side, there were no crowds! We actually had a lot of fun!

I think this bunny was actually larger than Rebecca!

The exhibit tent. The girls want to enter some sort of creation next year. They are already practicing.

The vegetable races. These were hysterical. The girls built cars out of cucumbers, potatoes and yuka and raced them. If you look carefully in the first picture, you can see the Amanda face.

Photo finish!

The Magic Show - because there were so few people at the fair, all 3 of the girls got to participate in the magic show. They had a great time!
